When you first walk in, you think you've made a huge mistake. The place looks like a third world slop trough. But you notice the patrons are looking happy, the place seems lively and then you just might find a couple of employees eating at a table in the corner. So you choke back your apprehensions and place your order. Which may take a minute as the options are widely varied and somewhat surprising. When your order arrives you're immediately surprised at how everything looks somebody's mom made it. Not a commercial assembly line. A neighborhood kitchen. Made with love and heart. And then you get started. Inexplicably it tastes even better than it looks. And just keeps getting better with every bite. The portions are generous, the ingredients fresh and prepared with care. Clearly the people that work here eat here for a reason. And you know you'll be coming back. Soon.

Came here for a Lunch Date with Bae and WE WILL DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK!!! The Catfish and Shrimps!! THE HUSHPUPPIES!!! CHEF’s 💋!!! Loved the Classic Music and The Atmosphere.. Super Friendly!! I’m Telling EVERYONE of THIS GEM!!
